“‘Og’ is Irish, means ‘young,’ which is what we are,” shares group co-founder Sophie McAdara, “and ‘Dara’ is part of our last name!”
Sophie plays fiddle. Brother Ty McAdara plays guitar. The duo performs mostly traditional Irish and Ozark music (Sophie’s favorite Irish tune is Blarney Pilgrim). Og’dara also performs Civil War-era music.
The brother-sister duo plays festivals, shows, parties and “almost anywhere we’re asked!” They may be booked through their Facebook page.
